Summary: This widget allows you to put a panel of links to your IDX search with locations pre-specified. For example, you could have a Popular Locations widget showing links to the top cities or areas in your MLS. Clicking on the links take the user to your IDX search with the location pre-selected.
Title: The title setting allows you to specify a title for the widget (e.g., Popular Locations).
IDX Link: This setting controls what Flexmls IDX link (from your IDX Manager in Flexmls Web) will be displayed when visitors click on one of the listings or links in the slideshow to see more details.
The 1-Click Location Searches widget is another case where you might want to specify a link different than the default to further customize your search. For example, might want to create a Foreclosures by City widget by selecting an IDX saved search link with foreclosure fields pre-specified. See above regarding the Title setting for how to title your search widget appropriately.
Property Type: Select a property type for your links.
Locations: You can use this function to specify one or more location links to be included in your widget. Either use the browse function or type some text in the text box to find the city, zip code, My Map Overlay, or other location you want to select. Double-click on the location to add it to the list.
Send Users To: When a user clicks on a listing, you can choose how they view the listing details.
- “my search results” – Displays the listing details on your site, this option is best for SEO/indexing purposes.
- “a flexmls IDX frame” – Displays the IDX Smart Frame in an iframe.
