I call the Association staff for assistance with this service but they do not seem to have knowledge about this; should they not be knowledgeable about the FBS services when members call about it?

Your Association staff’s responsibility is to license the data to you, to facilitate all approvals, monitor and regulate the data’s use, and authorize data to be given to you, as appropriate. They are not employees of FBS and it’s understandable that they may not know the ins and outs of our IDX products. Also, because there are many IDX solutions out there and many different types of real estate businesses and use cases, your Association staff would be doing you a disservice by recommending a specific solution for you. IDX is like all other technology solutions you may use to power your business: you have to do the research to determine which solution(s) fits your specific needs and your budget.
